Short answer
Our published payment options are cash in US dollars or Dominican pesos, or bank transfer by arrangement. No prepayment is required to hold a booking and this website has no card checkout. Confirm the currency and total in your written booking, especially if paying a USD-priced fare in pesos.
Confirm the amount in the currency you will use
The website lists fares in USD per vehicle and direction. If paying in DOP, ask for the agreed peso amount or conversion basis before pickup. A live internet exchange rate is not automatically the settlement rate agreed with the operator. Keep the amount in the booking conversation.
Ask about change if you expect to pay with a large note. Do not assume the driver carries enough change in either currency. If you want to use a currency other than USD or DOP, obtain specific acceptance first rather than relying on an old guide mentioning it.
Bank transfer needs coordination
If you prefer a bank transfer, request the payment instructions through the established booking contact. Confirm the recipient, amount, currency and reference, and ask when funds must be received. Bank processing times and fees can differ; a screenshot of an initiated payment is not the same as cleared funds.
Verify any unexpected change of bank details through the original contact before paying. Do not publish bank confirmations or personal financial information in public comments. Keep the receipt and dispatch acknowledgement for your own records.
Separate fare changes from optional tips
Confirm any extra stop, second address or revised vehicle before the ride. The written total should reflect what you agreed, including the published taxes and highway tolls. If someone requests an unexplained extra amount, ask dispatch to reconcile it with the booking before settling the difference.
A voluntary tip is separate from the agreed fare. Do not confuse a driver's tip with an obligatory booking fee or toll already included in the price. For business travel, request the invoice details when booking so the correct company information is available.
Keep payment and booking status distinct
No required prepayment does not mean a message sent through a form has automatically assigned a vehicle. Wait for the written booking confirmation. Similarly, sending money without an accepted itinerary is not a substitute for confirming the pickup date, flight and destination.
For a return trip, confirm whether payment covers one leg or both. If plans change after an agreed bank payment, discuss the adjustment with dispatch; the general statement that no deposit is required does not answer every case involving a voluntary advance payment.
