Short answer
Request child seats when you book, with each child's age, height and weight. Include every adult and child in the passenger count and list strollers and bags. Our published service includes requested child seats, but the specific seat and vehicle arrangement must be confirmed before travel. Child seats cost USD 5 per seat per journey, or USD 10 per seat for a round trip.
Send a complete family request
A request saying 'two children' does not tell dispatch which restraints are needed. Send each child's age, height and weight, the number of adults, and whether you will bring your own seats. Ask for written confirmation of the requested seats rather than assuming a note in a form guarantees a particular model.
List the stroller dimensions when folded, checked cases, cabin bags and any travel cot. The luggage space available can change when a vehicle's additional seats are in use. Plan the family and luggage as one booking so a second vehicle is not discovered to be necessary at pickup.
Confirm the seat and installation arrangement
Ask which seat category will be supplied and whether it is suitable for the child's measurements under the manufacturer's instructions. If using your own seat, provide its model and installation requirements in advance so compatibility can be checked. Do not rely on a generic 'family-friendly' or 'VIP' description as a seat specification.
Before departure, check that the agreed seat is present and that installation and harness adjustment follow its instructions. Raise any mismatch before the car moves. A passenger should not have to accept an unsuitable arrangement because the journey is short or the arrival is late.
Make the airport meeting manageable
Keep the booking contact and destination saved offline. One adult can handle the driver confirmation while another stays with the children and bags. Collect any gate-checked stroller according to your airline's instructions and tell dispatch if it delays your exit.
For a long drive, discuss an appropriate rest stop before departure. Pack the items needed during the journey in a small bag that remains accessible, rather than at the bottom of a suitcase. Tell dispatch if your accommodation requires a gate authorization so arrival does not become another long wait.
Repeat the details for the return
Confirm child seats for both legs; do not assume the return vehicle or driver is the same. Give the departure date, flight number and pickup address. Include time to load bags and settle children into seats before the planned departure from the hotel.
If another family joins the return, update passenger and seat counts before accepting the vehicle plan. Children occupy places in the party even when the published fare is per vehicle. Changes in group size or luggage can require a different arrangement.
