How the SDQ airport pickup works
Prepare the meeting at Las Américas, flight updates, child seats, accommodation access and payment before your trip.

Confirm SDQ and your arrival date
Las Américas (SDQ) is at Punta Caucedo, east of Santo Domingo. It is not La Isabela (JBQ). Send the actual arriving flight, local date, destination, passengers and luggage.

Complete airport formalities
Follow airport instructions through immigration, baggage collection and customs. Keep required documents ready. Tell dispatch if bags, queues or assistance delay your exit.

Meet and verify the driver
Use the public-arrivals meeting instructions in your confirmation and look for your name sign. Verify the driver through your saved booking contact before handing over luggage.

Check the journey before departure
Confirm destination, luggage, requested child seats and any agreed stops. Road times are estimates. Taxes and tolls stated in the confirmed zone fare are included.

Late arrivals
There is no published night surcharge. Confirm the local arrival date and arrange late check-in separately with your accommodation.
Changed meeting or driver
Verify any change through the original dispatch conversation. A name sign alone is not proof of identity. Remain at a public meeting point while resolving a mismatch.
Uber and other options
Check current app availability, total price and pickup instructions. Compare the same destination, passengers and luggage; neither option is always cheaper or guaranteed available.
Departure pickup
Confirm the accessible lobby or gate. Work backwards from the airline’s required airport-arrival time, adding the drive and a road contingency. Finish checkout before pickup.
Child seats
Request seats with each child’s age, height and weight. Obtain confirmation of the actual seat and vehicle arrangement before travelling.
Longer journeys
Discuss rest stops, additional addresses and bulky luggage before accepting the quote. A local van supplement does not automatically apply to long-distance routes.
