Short answer
For a late-night SDQ arrival, confirm the driver, meeting point and your accommodation's late check-in in advance. Use the arrival date shown on your ticket in local time, particularly after midnight. Save the booking offline and arrange a way to contact dispatch if mobile data is unavailable.
Check which date the vehicle is booked for
A flight leaving on Friday and landing at 00:30 on Saturday needs a Saturday arrival pickup. Send the flight number with the arrival date rather than describing the trip only as Friday night. If the airline moves the flight across midnight, update dispatch in the existing conversation.
Keep the arrival pickup separate from the hotel reservation date. Ask the hotel which night you must book to enter a room immediately after a very early arrival. A transport confirmation does not give you an early room or override a property's check-in hours.
Arrange the final door, not only the street address
For an apartment, ask the host for the staffed entrance, access code or key handover plan before departure. Share only the access information dispatch needs. For a hotel, confirm that reception knows about the late arrival and has not treated the reservation as a no-show.
Tell dispatch about gates or streets that restrict vehicle access. If the driver cannot enter, agree a practical handover point with the host rather than discovering a locked gate with tired children and luggage. A map pin helps, but it does not replace access instructions.
Keep a usable contact plan
Save the dispatcher number, confirmed meeting instructions and destination on your phone before boarding. Keep enough battery for the arrival. Airport Wi-Fi can be a fallback, but do not make an important pickup depend on one connection working everywhere.
If you cannot find the driver, remain in public arrivals and contact the booked operator. Tell them a visible landmark. Verify any replacement driver through that same contact before leaving; an unfamiliar person saying that your original driver cancelled is not a verified booking update.
