Short answer
Send dispatch the arriving flight number and local arrival date. Airline delays on the booked flight are covered by our stated service, but a cancellation, rebooking or diversion requires an updated plan. Tell us before arranging a replacement pickup so the original driver is not left expecting you.
Delayed flight, same arrival airport
Use the flight number for the leg actually arriving at SDQ, not just the first leg of a connecting itinerary. The airline's arrival estimate can change repeatedly. Keep dispatch informed of a significant change or any message that conflicts with the booking details.
A delayed landing does not necessarily mean you will be ready immediately after touchdown. Tell dispatch if immigration, baggage or assistance then delays you inside the airport. Flight tracking cannot identify the moment your suitcase arrives or when you reach the public hall.

Cancelled flight or missed connection
Send a message as soon as you know you will not be on the booked arrival. If the airline has not assigned a replacement, say the new flight is still unknown. Once confirmed, send the new number, arrival date and time, including any date change after midnight.
Ask dispatch to confirm the revised pickup, vehicle requirements and destination. A new flight should not be treated as automatically accepted simply because you sent a screenshot. If your accommodation or group size changes too, include that in the same update.
Diversion to another airport
First establish whether the airline will continue to SDQ or arrange another onward journey. Do not ask a driver to leave for a different airport until you know where you will be released and what the airline is providing. Send the actual airport code rather than just a city name.
A different airport can mean a substantially different route, vehicle schedule and fare. Obtain a new written agreement before proceeding. The fact that an airline delay is included does not create an unlimited free transfer from any airport on the island.
Cancellation and no-show are different
Our published terms allow cancellation without charge when you notify us before pickup. Use the original contact and keep the acknowledgement. If you arranged a bank transfer separately, ask dispatch about that payment rather than assuming a statement about no required deposit answers every refund situation.
If you are at SDQ but delayed inside, say so. The published no-show terms refer to a 60-minute wait after tracked landing when nobody appears and no message arrives. Do not silently rely on a different waiting-clock description from an older guide; contact dispatch to agree the situation.
