Dreams La Romana or Dreams Dominicus? Confirm the Right SDQ Transfer

Published by A&M Caribbean Group SRL · Published

Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams Dominicus La Romana are separate hotels. For a private transfer from Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ), use the complete name on your current accommodation confirmation and a hotel-confirmed entrance pin. Both remain in SDQ VIP’s existing Bayahibe zone; a similar name does not identify the same reception.

Two Dreams names, two hotel destinations

Hyatt lists Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa and Dreams Dominicus La Romana as distinct properties. The first is listed at Playa Bayahibe Section B; the second is the Dominicus resort in our Bayahibe hotel directory. Send the full resort name rather than shortening either booking to “Dreams La Romana”. If different documents disagree, ask your accommodation provider to resolve the identity before dispatch assigns the destination.

Compare the property, not just the address

Both official hotel addresses contain Playa Bayahibe and La Romana. Those shared place names do not identify the same entrance. Match your current booking to the complete hotel name, its official property record and a map pin confirmed by the hotel. Ask which vehicle entrance and reception receive your reservation. A room category, old photo or generic La Romana address alone is insufficient.

What if your confirmation says Hilton La Romana?

If an older voucher mentions Hilton La Romana, send the wording to your accommodation provider and ask for the current property name and reception in writing. Do the same with an old or abbreviated Dreams reference. Do not select Dreams Dominicus merely because it contains La Romana. Once clarified, send SDQ VIP the updated destination; a transport request cannot resolve an ambiguous hotel reservation.

Keep Secrets La Romana separate

The Dreams La Romana FAQ identifies Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa as its adjacent adults-only resort. That does not make a Secrets reservation a Dreams reservation, and it does not describe Dreams Dominicus as the adjacent property. Use the hotel actually booked and confirm its reception and permitted vehicle access. Shared facilities or nearby buildings do not establish your driver’s drop-off point.

Request your SDQ VIP arrival transfer

Confirm that your flight lands at SDQ, not PUJ or LRM. Send flight number, local arrival date, full hotel name, entrance pin, passenger and luggage counts, child-seat needs and assistance requirements. Both Dreams hotels are listed in the Bayahibe zone. Consult the destination page for the published VIP fare and have dispatch assess your actual journey. Ask for vehicle capacity, availability and the total in writing. Check your package for included transport before ordering another service.

Confirm the return pickup at the actual hotel

For departure, confirm the pickup reception at the hotel where you will actually be staying, your flight’s airport and departure time. Agree the road allowance, airline arrival requirement and contingency with dispatch; landing or driving estimates are not pickup guarantees. Notify SDQ VIP if the hotel or flight changes. Keep the written service confirmation: sending a request alone does not reserve a vehicle.
