La Romana and Amber Cove are different cruise destinations, and neither is Santo Domingo's Sans Souci terminal. Match the port, ship and sailing date on your documents before requesting a quote. For a north-coast sailing, compare flights into Puerto Plata as well as SDQ before accepting a long road connection.
A region name does not identify the passenger entrance
Copy the terminal name from the cruise line's confirmation. Puerto Plata may appear as a broad destination, while your instructions identify a specific facility. Do not substitute one port for another because a search result describes both as nearby.
For La Romana, distinguish the cruise terminal from the airport, city hotels and resorts in the wider region. Send a location link supplied by the cruise line where possible. Ask dispatch to confirm access and the meeting point before treating a hotel-zone fare as a port-transfer quote.
Compare the complete flight-and-road itinerary
An inexpensive SDQ flight can lose its advantage once a long private drive and an overnight stay are included. Compare flight arrival time, transfer quote, luggage, check-in deadline and the cost of a missed connection. A closer airport can be more useful even if its airfare is higher.
