SDQ to Santo Domingo cruise port: Sans Souci or Don Diego?

Short answer
Santo Domingo's port operator lists both Sans Souci and Don Diego terminals. They are different pickup and drop-off locations. Send your ship name, sailing date, assigned terminal and boarding deadline when requesting the transfer; a booking that says only Santo Domingo cruise port is incomplete.
Use the terminal assigned to your sailing
Check the cruise line's latest boarding instructions rather than choosing the first port pin returned by a map. Forward the terminal name and passenger entrance to dispatch. If the line changes the terminal, update the transfer even when the ship and departure time stay the same.
Do not assume a ferry and a cruise ship use identical boarding arrangements. Give the vessel and operator names exactly as booked. Private-car access can differ from where passengers complete check-in, so ask dispatch to confirm the permitted drop-off rather than promising delivery to the gangway.
Plan around boarding closure, not sailing time
A ship's departure time is later than its boarding deadline. Give dispatch the deadline from your travel documents and allow for flight arrival procedures before starting the road journey. A scheduled landing is not a guaranteed time outside SDQ with luggage.
If you are considering flying in on the same day, assess the consequences of a delayed flight before buying the itinerary. An earlier arrival or a preceding hotel night can provide more flexibility. A private transfer cannot guarantee that a ship will wait or that a missed sailing can be recovered.
Book disembarkation separately
The ship's arrival time is not your guaranteed release time. Confirm your assigned disembarkation arrangements, luggage collection and the outside meeting point. Send a working phone number and let dispatch know when your group is actually ready.
For a port-to-airport transfer, include the flight number and the airline's required airport-arrival time. If port formalities run late, contact dispatch promptly. Keep any excursion or lunch stop separate from the essential airport transfer and request a quote for the complete itinerary.
