Arriving at SDQ and Flying Home from Punta Cana? Plan Your Transfers Separately

If you arrive at Las Américas (SDQ) and fly home from Punta Cana (PUJ), list each road journey separately. An SDQ return booking does not automatically cover departure from another airport. Ask SDQ VIP to assess the complete itinerary and confirm availability and price for each leg, including any PUJ service.
Start with both airport codes
Check SDQ on the inbound ticket and PUJ on the outbound ticket, including local dates and flight numbers. This article concerns a holiday between flights. If you need to change airports immediately for an onward flight, use the airport-connection guidance instead; a road booking does not protect the connection.
Write a dated journey list
Example: day 1, SDQ to a Zona Colonial hotel; day 4, that hotel to a Bávaro resort; day 8, the resort to PUJ. These are three different services. Give each property’s full name, address and pickup entrance. If you go straight from SDQ to the resort, omit the hotel-change leg.
Request a price for each actual route
The SDQ zone price applies to its confirmed airport journey. A city-to-resort ride and a resort-to-PUJ departure need their own quotes; do not halve a round-trip price or subtract airport fares. Request the total, inclusions, payment and change conditions per leg. PUJ availability requires explicit acceptance, with no assumed package discount.
Plan departure from the final hotel
Use the airline’s required airport-arrival time, the confirmed PUJ terminal and a road allowance agreed for your date and actual hotel. Add time for checkout and luggage loading. Do not reuse the SDQ arrival journey’s duration or its meeting point. Reconfirm pickup if the flight, property or terminal changes.
Check the group again before each ride
Send adults, children, child-seat requirements, suitcases, strollers and oversized equipment for every leg. Shopping or friends joining later can change the vehicle needed. Confirm capacity and any assistance. An intermediate meal or sightseeing stop needs prior agreement on waiting and price; it is not included merely because the trip is private.
Send one request with separate confirmations
Request example: Arrival [date, flight, SDQ] to [property]; hotel change [date, time, origin, destination]; departure [date, flight, PUJ terminal] from [final hotel]. Add passengers, bags, seats and a reachable contact for each ride. Ask SDQ VIP which legs can be accepted and request written pickup details and prices. Keep each confirmation and update changed dates promptly.
