Hotel-to-hotel transfers in the Dominican Republic: routes and quotes

Use full property names, not only resort brands

One brand can operate several properties in the same region, and one resort complex can have multiple lobbies. Copy each full name from the hotel confirmation and identify the pickup entrance. Tell dispatch about a villa, residence or separate adults-only section when it changes vehicle access.

A route from a Santo Domingo hotel to Bávaro is not the same origin as SDQ to Bávaro. Do not subtract two airport fares or assume the closer-looking destination is always cheaper. Dispatch must confirm the actual route and vehicle commitment.

Coordinate checkout and the next check-in

Arrange pickup after you can finish checkout and collect all luggage. Ask the next property what happens if you arrive before the room is ready. A car transfer does not include early check-in or guarantee somewhere to store bags.

If you want lunch or sightseeing between hotels, list it before confirming. Waiting at a restaurant or attraction changes the service from a direct transfer. Agree the stop duration, vehicle supervision arrangements and total price rather than adding it casually on the road.

Reconfirm the vehicle after the first part of your holiday

Luggage and passengers can change after an airport arrival: shopping, golf equipment or friends joining the trip affect capacity. Send the current count rather than relying on the original flight booking. Include child seats again when they are needed.

Confirm the destination and payment arrangement in writing. Keep one reachable coordinator for both hotels and dispatch. If the pickup changes to a different property, obtain a revised confirmation rather than assuming the driver will infer your new location.
